Tango del Cielo Kicks Off CF Performing Arts Series

The College of Central Florida Performing Arts Series will host Tango Del Cielo on Monday, Sept. 24. The show features a heavenly blend of Argentine Tango, Spanish Flamenco and classical and Latin jazz. 

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Following the program, there will be a meet and greet with performer Anna Maria Mendieta and members of her show. Tickets are $22.

This performance is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Florida Council for the Arts. Through the grant, a limited number of complimentary tickets will be provided to underprivileged students, English Speakers of Other Languages students from Marion County, and families from bilingual households. The grant will also support a performance at a Marion County elementary school. The artists will also visit with CF students enrolled in Spanish Language classes.
