CF Patriot Dance Ensemble and Friends, Dec. 1

The College of Central Florida Visual and Performing Arts program will present the Patriot Dance Ensemble and Friends on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

The performance will feature the CF Patriot Dance Ensemble, the program's most advanced dancers, as well as students from Belleview High School and West Port High School.

“The Patriot Dance Ensemble will premier exciting new works based on the forces of our lives,” said CF instructor Rebecca Lott. “The dancers in this concert are fierce and dancing completely from their hearts with total dedication to the work.”

The choreography is a collaboration of Lott, her students, Cate Mease Martin from Belleview High School and Jana Tripp from West Port High School. The works are choreographed to musical selections by Philip Glass, Talking Heads, Trent Reznor, Michael Wall, Cecila Bartoli and other artists.
