CFCC Adds Personal Lines Agent Course

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting enrollment for its 20-44 Personal Lines Agent course, which begins Monday, Feb. 1.
This 52-hour course is the prelicensing requirement for individuals who want to sell noncommercial property and casualty insurance. It will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays until Feb. 22 at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The course fee is $375. The required textbook, “Florida General Lines Agent & Customer Representative Study Guide,” is available at the CFCC Bookstore or online at www.faia.com.
The course will expose students to various phases of personal property and casualty insurance including automobile insurance and homeowner insurance. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the Department of Financial Services examination.
