Personal Lines Agent Course at CFCC

The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting enrollment for its 20-44 Personal Lines Agent course, which begins Monday, Sept. 15.

This state-approved 52-hour course is the prelicensing requirement for individuals who want to sell noncommercial property and casualty insurance only. It will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through Tuesday, Oct. 14. The classes will be held at the CFCC Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The course fee is $365. The required textbook, “Florida General Lines Agent & Customer Representative Study Guide” is available at the Ocala Campus bookstore. It may also be purchased via the Web at www.faia.com.

The course will expose students to various phases of personal property and casualty insurance including automobile insurance and homeowner insurance. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the Department of Financial Services examination.
