CF to Share Information on Plus 50 Completion Strategy

The Senior Learning Institute at the College of Central Florida will be holding information sessions on Monday Nov. 7, for the Plus 50 Completion Strategy. Sessions will be held at noon and 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the University Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

Information will be provided for individuals 50 and better who are interested in completing a degree or earning a certificate or credential to become active, or remain active, in high-demand fields in the workforce. You may explore the opportunity of obtaining credit for prior learning, documentation of prior credits earned and the availability of accelerated classes suited for plus 50 learners.

The Senior Learning Institute was founded in 1992 and was sponsored by CF to promote continuing education, learning opportunities, quality leisure time and social interaction for residents 50 and better. The institute is nationally recognized as a premier postsecondary educational program for the 50-plus learners. Plus 50 Completion Strategies is a program of the American Association of Community Colleges and is funded in part by the Lumina Foundation.
