Explore Career Options at CFCC Preview Night
Feb. 2, 2010
Central Florida Community College invites students, parents and community members to Preview Night on Tuesday, Feb. 23. The Hollywood-themed event will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Ewers Century Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
The college will showcase the many career and educational opportunities available at CFCC with exhibits and workshops on dual enrollment, admissions and financial aid, workforce and certificate programs, advanced degrees offered through CFCC’s university partners, and teacher education opportunities. Visit one or several of the sessions which begin at 6 p.m. and rotate every 30 minutes.
Students in grades 6 through 12 who attend the event will be entered in a drawing for two $500 CFCC tuition scholarships. The names will be drawn at the end of the evening, and winners will be notified by telephone if they are not present.
"Preview Night is chance for CFCC to showcase everything it has to offer,” said School Relations Coordinator Jane Pope. “It’s encouraging to know that CFCC provides options even in the state of our economy, and we want to help as many people as we can discover the education and training that will prepare them for a promising future.”
