CF Senior Learning Institute to Offer eBay Class

The Senior Learning Institute at the College of Central Florida will offer Introduction to Buying and Selling on eBay. The course will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, Dec. 6 and 8, at the Ewers Century Center, Room 306, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The fee is $8 for Senior Learning Institute members and $35 for nonmembers.

Participants will learn how to open eBay Buyer/Seller and PayPal accounts; find, compare and research items; bid on auctions, Buy It Now and Make Offers; distinguish between different types of fees and payment methods; rules and policies; security and more.

The Senior Learning Institute was founded in 1992 and was sponsored by CF to promote continuing education, learning opportunities, quality leisure time and social interaction for residents 50 and better. The institute is nationally recognized as a premier postsecondary educational program for the 50-plus learners.
