CF Senior Program Seeking Courses, Instructors
July 17, 2012
The Senior Learning Institute at the College of Central Florida is looking for individuals interested in sharing their knowledge with a community of mature learners. The institute is requesting proposals from potential instructors for courses that will excite the interest, intellect and imagination of students.
The Senior Learning Institute is a community of plus 50 learners who select from 35 to 40 noncredit courses each semester at the college. The proposed courses would be for about 10 contact hours, offered between Jan. 4 and June 30, 2013.
There are no specific academic qualifications for instructors. However, they must be able to demonstrate the background, knowledge and expertise in the subject matter to present a college-level course to highly motivated mature learners.
The deadline for proposals is 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25. The proposal form is available at http://pathways.cf.edu/senior_institute.htm or the Ewers Century Center, Room 105, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
