Wind Symphony and Patriot Singers, Dec. 3

The College of Central Florida Visual and Performing Arts program will present the CF Wind Symphony and CF Patriot Singers on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. As a special gift to the community, admission is free and tickets are not required.

The performance will feature the CF Wind Symphony, the program’s most advanced instrumentalists, and the CF Patriot Singers, CF’s premier vocal ensemble.

“This concert is a thrilling and exciting venture through the contemporary and traditional repertoire of both the wind band and the choral ensemble,” said Charles J. Vaughan, CF instructor. “In addition to the individual ensemble performances, the groups will team up for a very peaceful and serene performance of ‘Sleep’ by Eric Whitacre.”
