CFCC Sets Free Workshop for Teachers

Central Florida Community College will offer a free workshop for teachers on “Building Effective Learning Communities.”

Chris Olson, an adjunct instructor with the CFCC Educator Preparation Institute, will share information on the value of learning communities in the educational system. The workshop will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the University Center, Room 212, at the Ocala Campus, 3001. S.W. College Road.

Teachers will learn how to foster positive and productive relationships between parents, administration and co-workers that will enhance teaching skills and improve student achievement.
