The Cosmetology program focuses on the aesthetic care of hair, skin and nails. The program provides both theoretical and practical training. Students will practice on mannequins and clients of the Personal Services Institute to develop and refine the skills used in cosmetology. Instruction is given in the fundamental knowledge behind the skills. Upon completion of the Cosmetology program, graduates may apply to the Florida Licensure Board. Upon passing the examination, graduates may work as licensed cosmetologists. This program has day and evening options.
