Call to Order Mac Dismuke, President
Mac Dismuke called the meeting to order and he welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Welcome New Members Bonnie Malcom/Cara Bennett, Membership co-chairs
Membership: Cara Bennett welcomed new members, Chad Christlieb and Laurie Saputo, by giving them an FACC candy bar.
Thank you/Appreciation M/M CFCC, Valentine’s Day, United Way Day of Caring
Mac thanked those members who helped with M/M CFCC and gave a candy bar to Kimberley Smith and Carole Bartholomew, and Cara Bennett for helping out with the Valentine’s Day roses and United Way Day of Caring.
Special Guests/Presentations Dr. Gary Sligh, Region III Director
Dr. Gary Sligh introduced himself as the new Region III Director from Lake Sumter Community College and spoke about the upcoming Region III Conference that will be hosted by Lake Sumter Community College on May 12. He also mentioned that he would like to see our chapters get together for a social in the future.
Reports
Secretary’s Minutes Jamie Schofield, Secretary
The minutes from last months executive meeting will be posted on the web, if you have any corrections please contact Jamie Schofield or Mac Dismuke.
Treasurer’s Report Debbie Cook, Treasurer
Debbie reported the total profit made from the Valentine’s Day roses. She also spoke about the membership fees and how FACC needed more money in that account. Dan Figler also reported that Dr. Dassance has generously given FACC $6000 more dollars to cover membership and travel.
Activities Report Amber Rutz/Kimberley Smith, Activities
Kimberley reported that the CPEC Breakfast will be held Tuesday, April 25 th in the Webber and she will be sending out more information on sign-up sheets for set-up and clean-up. Amber Rutz reported on the Spring Festival.
Legislative Update Dr. Mike Droll
Dr. Mike Droll gave a legislative update on several of the bills in both the House and Senate. He also mentioned that he would send Jamie Schofield (to send out to all members) a website with all the bills so that everyone could follow them.

New Business
Kimberley Smith spoke about the Equity Commission and stated that they were in the process of getting a group together so that Disability Services would have a voice. Dr. Olsen commented on the difficultly of getting a new commission implemented. Kimberley stated that they are in process and will keep the chapter updated.
Mac Dismuke mentioned that Bob DuMond will hold another plant sale with FACC. He stated that he will be getting more information to send out soon.
Carole Bartholomew reported on Blue Jeans for Babies since Carol Smith was out of town. She stated that from the sign-up sheet that was passed around – they raised $146.
Mac Dismuke spoke about the March of Dimes Walk and how FACC needed volunteers to work the spirit station on March 29. Mac also mentioned the Student Development Commission Conference on May 17-19 in Daytona Beach. The Membership Workshop will be held July 6-7. Mac also swore Dan Figler in as Vice President for FACC for the 2006-07 terms.

The meeting was adjourned and we had the drawings for the door prizes.
The next meeting will be May 25, 2006, Brownie Break Social at Plant Operations from 2-3 pm.
