Special Business/Guests
Dr. Dassance mentioned Jenzabar and the Board of Director’s luncheon and noted the “death” of the OSCAR registration system.
Dr. Pealer discussed the FACC Endowed Scholarship started by Mac Dismuke and Tony Gill in 1997. The state is matching “one-to-one” in theory, but the College has not received those funds for the last 3 years. As the state does disburse those funds, the matched amounts are applied to the donations in the order they were made. The College currently has matched donations up to the donations made in early 2000. The private gift level is now at $1134.00. Once it is at the $3000 operational level, book scholarships will be open to any students. For the regular scholarship amount the operational level is $6,000.
Payroll deduction is possible for donations to be directed to the FACC Endowed Scholarship.
