Professional Development Center:

The Professional Development Center offers a place for faculty to work individually or with colleagues to design materials for classroom instruction and includes the following resources:

  • An instructional technology mini-lab for training in development and use of web pages, presentation tools, and desktop publishing. Assistance is also available for using graphics programs, scanners, CD burners, and for other instructional technology needs;
  • A browsing library/quiet room for coffee, tea, reading, and reflection.

  • A link for New Employee Orientation

The PDC provides equipment to develop materials in the computer lab and offers portable equipment* which can be checked out for classroom use:

  • Flat Bed Scanner/Slide Scanner

  • Color Laser Printer
  • Proxima/Sharp Projectors*
  • Presentation & authoring software
  • Video Capture equipment
