SUMMARY:2023 CF Faculty Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:In this biennial exhibition\, the College of Central Florida will showcase a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional works\, including ceramics\, prints\, fiber\, photography and mixed media pieces created by Visual Arts faculty members Tyrus Clutter\, James O’Leary\, Michele Wirt and Graham Young. This show provides an opportunity for students and our community to see the high level of artistry CF’s talented educators are able to achieve in their own work.  \nThe “2023 Faculty Art Exhibition” will open Monday Jan. 9-Thursday\, Feb. 2. An opening reception will be held on Thursday\, Jan. 19\, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. College Road. Themes of humor and perseverance will take center stage in this year’s 11 films selected from around the globe. \nAll films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art\, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd.\, Ocala\, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida\, 3001 S.W. College Road\, Building 8\, Room 110\, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public. Films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members; nonmembers pay museum admission. Films may contain mature content. \n\nAbout the Film\n \n“Parasite”(R\, South Korea\, 2019\, 132 min.) \n“Parasite” has been called Bong Joon Ho’s “pitch-black modern fairytale.” Korean families the Parks and the Kims come together in a symbiotic relationship when the Kim children install themselves as luxury service providers in the affluent Park home. Income provides stability for the Kim family\, but this new ecosystem is fragile. Can their newfound comfort survive deep-rooted generational greed and class prejudice? DESCRIPTION:CF is conducting a virtual information session to learn more about the Associate Degree Nursing\, LPN and Paramedic Bridge Nursing and BSN programs through a Zoom presentation. Stay on and complete your CF general admission application and the $30 fee will be waived. Potential students must attend a session before applying to any of the programs. Sessions provide details about admissions criteria\, program requirements\, costs and more. \nThere is no waiting list for any of the Health Science programs.
