Maestro Wardell will discuss film composer Bernard Herrmann’s unique working relationship with Alfred Hitchcock\, and provide special insights into the Psycho film score. DESCRIPTION:Join us at 5:30 p.m. for a special room dedication and memorial reception honoring the CF Ira Holmes International Film Series founder\, the late Ira Holmes. Following an introduction by CF president Dr. Henningsen\, attendees will have the opportunity to share their memories of Ira before the film screening. Light refreshments will be served. We will end the night and begin the official 2024-2025 season with a screening of a film Ira Holmes selected as a message of hope before his passing on Sunday\, June 9\, 2024.
