DESCRIPTION:The College of Central Florida will showcase the talent of its Visual Arts and Digital Media students in “The 2023 CF Student Art Exhibition”. This annual exhibition provides students with an opportunity to present their work in a professional environment.  \n“The 2023 CF Student Art Exhibition” will open Monday\, March 27-Thursday\, May 4. A free opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, March 29\, at 12:30 p.m. \nOn Wednesday\, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. the gallery will host an artist talk with exhibition judge Nicholas Kalemba\, who will talk about his art practice and the UCF Visual Arts Program. \nThe Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. SUMMARY:Artist Talk with Nicholas Kalemba
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Webber gallery for an artist talk with artist Nicholas Kalemba\, who will talk about his art practice and the UCF Visual Arts Program. Kalemba is the judge of “the 2023 Student Art Exhibiton” which will be open Monday\, March 27-Thursday\, May 4.   \nKalemba is a contemporary painter living and working in Orlando\, where he graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in 2016 and a master of fine arts in 2019 from the University of Central Florida. Specializing in acrylic and oil painting on a large scale\, he works as a muralist\, studio painter and instructor of drawing\, painting and sculpture at UCF. Kalemba’s work has been exhibited in more than 25 group and juried exhibitions regionally and locally\, where he has won multiple awards and recognitions\, including a two-year residency at the Maitland Arts and History Center from 2019-2021. \nA free opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, March 29\, at 12:30 p.m. for “The 2023 Student Art” Exhibiton”. \nThe Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W.
