SUMMARY:Ira Holmes Memorial Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us at 5:30 p.m. for a special room dedication and memorial reception honoring the CF Ira Holmes International Film Series founder\, the late Ira Holmes. Following an introduction by CF president Dr. Henningsen\, attendees will have the opportunity to share their memories of Ira before the film screening. Light refreshments will be served. We will end the night and begin the official 2024-2025 season with a screening of a film Ira Holmes selected as a message of hope before his passing on Sunday\, June 9\, 2024. Please RSVP below. \nAll films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art\, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd.\, Ocala\, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida\, 3001 S.W. College Road\, Building 8\, Room 110\, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public. Films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members; nonmembers pay museum admission.
