Awards and prizes will be presented at the opening reception. \nThe exhibition will open on Monday\, Nov. 7\, and be on view through Thursday\, Dec. 8. The community is invited to a free opening reception on Friday\, Nov. 18 from 5-7 p.m. \nThe Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. College Road. Graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and CF alumni\, Jordan is a professional artist known for his community involvement in public art\, and for his scribble face paintings. \nThis event was made possible by a CF foundation grant.

This collaboration includes musical selections that celebrates our connection to water – from the Mississippi River to the bottom of Lake Superior to a home aquarium – which connect the audience to Earth’s most precious element. \n“Water” will feature performances by guest composer Joshua Mazur. DESCRIPTION:The College of Central Florida will present “It’s Colored Pencil” in partnership with the Colored Pencil Society of America. Sponsored by CPSA District Chapter 113 in Gainesville\, this Webber Gallery exhibition will showcase fine artwork of all styles and subjects completed in colored pencil. \n“It’s Colored Pencil” will open Monday\, Feb. 13-Thursday\, March 9. A free opening reception will be held on Friday\, Feb. 17\, from 5-7 p.m. The Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. College Road. DESCRIPTION:The College of Central Florida’s Ira Holmes International Film Series is excited to be offering its first full\, in-person season since 2019. Themes of humor and perseverance will take center stage in this year’s 11 films selected from around the globe. \nAll films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art\, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd.\, Ocala\, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida\, 3001 S.W. College Road\, Building 8\, Room 110\, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public. Films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members; nonmembers pay museum admission. Films may contain mature content. \n\nAbout the Film\n \n“Get Out”(R\, USA\, 2017\, 104 min.) \nThis Universal Pictures’ 2017 horror thriller\, written and directed by Jordan Peele\, has been critically acclaimed as one of the best films of the 21st century.
