DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday\, Oct. 2\, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Building 4\, Room 105 on the Citrus Campus for a workshop with poet\, Asa Drake. \nAsa Drake is a Filipina American poet and teaching artist in Central Florida. Her chapbook\, “One Way to Listen\,” was selected by Taneum Bambrick as the winner of the Gold Line Press’s 2021 Poetry Chapbook Contest. She received her MFA in poetry from The New School and her MIS from Florida State University. \nTopics and concepts presented at this event are for discussion purposes only and are not intended to espouse\, promote\, advance\, inculcate\, or compel individuals to believe the topics or concepts presented therein.
