A free opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, March 29\, at 12:30 p.m. \nOn Wednesday\, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. the gallery will host an artist talk with exhibition judge Nicholas Kalemba\, who will talk about his art practice and the UCF Visual Arts Program. \nThe Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. DESCRIPTION:Join us for “Religion in the Colonial Period” on Wednesday\, April 5\, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Webber Center. Dr. Ron Cooper will discuss religion in America during Colonial times.   \nThe Patriot Project takes a deep dive into the history of the 17th and 18th centuries\, expanding on the new state civics initiative to invite students\, staff and the community to a monthly lecture series. Lectures are free and open to the public and light refreshments and event giveaways are provided. \nThe Patriot Project was developed by Dr. Sarah Satterfield\, CF professor of music\, with funding provided through a CF Foundation New Initiative Grant.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Webber gallery for an artist talk with artist Nicholas Kalemba\, who will talk about his art practice and the UCF Visual Arts Program. Kalemba is the judge of “the 2023 Student Art Exhibiton” which will be open Monday\, March 27-Thursday\, May 4.   \nKalemba is a contemporary painter living and working in Orlando\, where he graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in 2016 and a master of fine arts in 2019 from the University of Central Florida. Specializing in acrylic and oil painting on a large scale\, he works as a muralist\, studio painter and instructor of drawing\, painting and sculpture at UCF. Kalemba’s work has been exhibited in more than 25 group and juried exhibitions regionally and locally\, where he has won multiple awards and recognitions\, including a two-year residency at the Maitland Arts and History Center from 2019-2021. \nA free opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, March 29\, at 12:30 p.m. for “The 2023 Student Art” Exhibiton”. \nThe Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W.
