DESCRIPTION:The College of Central Florida will present “It’s Colored Pencil” in partnership with the Colored Pencil Society of America. Sponsored by CPSA District Chapter 113 in Gainesville\, this Webber Gallery exhibition will showcase fine artwork of all styles and subjects completed in colored pencil. \n“It’s Colored Pencil” will open Monday\, Feb. 13-Thursday\, March 9. A free opening reception will be held on Friday\, Feb. 17\, from 5-7 p.m. The Webber Gallery is located at the CF Ocala Campus\, 3001 S.W. College Road. DESCRIPTION:Join us for “History of the Colonial Period” on Wednesday\, March 1\, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Webber Center. CF faculty members Jay Thompson and Jennifer Ambrosia will discuss Colonial history.   \nThe Patriot Project takes a deep dive into the history of the 17th and 18th centuries\, expanding on the new state civics initiative to invite students\, staff and the community to a monthly lecture series. Lectures are free and open to the public and light refreshments and event giveaways are provided. \nThe Patriot Project was developed by Dr. Sarah Satterfield\, CF professor of music\, with funding provided through a CF Foundation New Initiative Grant.
