CF International Film: 'Beast of the Southern Wild'

The College of Central Florida International Film Series will present “Beast of the Southern Wild,” a bayou drama.
The 2012 American film will be shown Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
Directed by Benh Zeitlin, “Beast of the Southern Wild” depicts the story of a 6-year-old girl on the brink of orphanhood in a forgotten bayou community due to a fierce storm. The 91-minute film is rated PG-13.
At the Appleton, viewers pay museum admission unless they are a museum member or a patron of the CF International Film Series.
