Enroll Now for Welding Program at CF Levy Campus
Oct. 30, 2013
The College of Central Florida has added more classes to its popular Levy Center welding program. The addition of morning classes will now allow students to attend the program full time during the day instead of at night.
Applications are now being accepted for January 2014 classes. Scholarships and financial aid may be available for qualified students. The deadline to apply is Monday, Dec. 9.
The postsecondary adult vocational certificate in Applied Welding Technologies prepares students for employment in a wide range of welding careers.
Students can attend full or part time. Full-time students attend class eight hours per day, and part-time students attend four hours per day. Students must complete 1,170 hours in the classroom to earn their certificate. A full-time student can complete the program in one year.
Classes are offered from 8 a.m. to noon, 12:30-4:30 p.m. or 5-9 p.m. at the Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus, 7631 N.W. 151 Lane, Chiefland. For more information, or to enroll, contact Kat Davis at 352-493-9533, ext. 2104, or email@example.com.
