RSVP, the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, invites adults 55 and over to use their talents, skills and life experiences to help solve community problems.

Established in 1971 and now one of the largest senior volunteer organizations in the nation, RSVP engages more than 400,000 people age 55 and over in a diverse range of volunteer activities. Volunteers recruit and coordinate other volunteers, tutor and mentor children and adults, renovate homes, assist victims of natural disasters, provide independent living services, and serve their communities in many other ways. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.

The RSVP sponsor in Marion County is the College of Central Florida. The college has maintained sponsorship since September 2002. RSVP of Marion County is located in the CF University Center at the Ocala Campus.
