HOMEGROWN
Slip’n’Slide. Yellow… torn at the end.
Lemonade stand made by two chairs
and a scrap of two-by-four. Dirty spoons dig
up some imagination. This one’s an apple pie.
Sprinklers become rain for mud fights
in the street; no danger, just occupiers
such as fearless dreamers who always laugh
at funny words, find worms peculiar
when they fly away with two wings.
Compatible to the day mother finds baby’s
discovered two feet… stumbled into a world all her own.
