Flowing waves shelter me beneath their ebbing flow
Silent cries of water whisper everything they know.
Here I lie beneath the quavering sheet.
I hear all that the water cries to me.
The waves rock me gently to make me feel at home
Though soon the tide will come and then I know I must go.
But even without the waves around me their affect is still here.
I always feel their pressing calm and am at a loss for fear.
Though I journey through a distant land, I am still homeward bound.
Soon I shall return to peace and ambience will again be found.
