Science StudentWhy Study the Sciences?

Science programs at CF help students to prepare for admission to many university and professional programs. Basic pre-professional courses leading to fields such as dentistry, medicine, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary science, various kinds of engineering and many other technical fields are offered by the department. Some of our graduates have gone on to advanced degrees in the pure sciences. Transfer to 4 year institutions and professional schools is generally through the Associate of Arts degree.
