Ruthie Nelson

CF Young Singers will be led by Ruthie Nelson. Ms. Nelson has taught every level from elementary to college with great success in both private and public schools. She received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of South Florida. She is finishing her Masters from the same school this year in Vocal performance. She has prepared choirs for Carnegie Hall and her ensembles have consistently received the highest ratings at competitions.

Ms. Nelson is also highly sought after as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the country. She was named Florida Vocalist of the Year by the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. She is also on the Grammy nominated recording of the Brahms Requiem with Miami based Seraphic Fire. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the College of Central Florida and the Patel Conservatory.
