Jan Hitchcock
Jan Hitchcock joined the CF Adjunct Faculty to teach Ceramics in Aug. '06 after teaching art in England and Italy for over 20 years. She taught for the Department of Defense Schools and in the independent British school system in Oxford, England. Also she received a Fulbright Teacher Exchange experience in London and taught at a comprehensive school (high school equivalent).
She is a native of Massachusetts and taught art in the public school system on the elementary, middle school, high school and adult education levels for many years.
Her Bachelor of Science degree is from Northeastern University and she has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University.
As a teacher and artist she has many exhibitions to her credit and could not imagine a life without creativity.
