CF International Film Series Presents 'Let the Right One In'

The College of Central Florida International Film Series will present “Let the Right One In,” a romantic horror film about a human boy and a vampire girl.

The film will be shown on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., and at 7 p.m. at the CF Ocala Campus in Building 8, Room 110, 3001 S.W. College Road.

At the Appleton, viewers pay museum admission unless they are a museum member or a patron of the CF International Film Series. Series membership is $15 for individuals, $25 for dual membership and includes a bonus film each year. For information about membership, call 352-873-5808. The viewing is free at CF.

Released in 2008, “Let the Right One In” tells the story of a bullied boy named Oskar who forms a bond with the new girl in town, Eli. The film follows their struggle with loneliness and attempt to live their lives in a small town without interruption.

The 115-minute acclaimed film is based on the 2004 book by the same name. The film is rated R for nudity, language, and violence. The film is in Swedish with English subtitles.
