CF XCEL-IT and Small Business Center Offering Classes in April

College of Central Florida Xcel-it and the Small Business Development Center have teamed up to offer the following courses for small businesses.
- How to Launch a Business will meet Monday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $40.
- Introduction to Exporting will meet Tuesday, April 22, from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $25.
- The eBay Business will meet Tuesday, April 29, from 2-4 p.m. The fee is $40.
- Social Media classes on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, will meet April 4, 11 and 25. The fee for each session is $15.
All Courses will be held at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Registration deadlines for all classes are three days prior to the start of the class. To learn more about these and other courses, visit CFItraining.cf.edu..

Xcel-it, Information Technology Careers in Rural Areas, is a statewide grant led and administered by CF, which is specifically designed to expand programs for workers who have been displaced due to foreign trade. Funding is paid through the Labor Department's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training grant.
The Small Business Development Center helps businesses become more successful and meet the challenges of tomorrow. SBDCs have assisted hundreds of thousands of potential and existing business owners by providing the management advice, training and information they need to start, grow, and profit. With funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration and partners ranging from institutions of higher learning to state agencies to municipalities, to private organizations, SBDCs are able to offer this management assistance to business owners at little or no cost.
