CF Theatre Presents 'Dracula'

College of Central Florida Theatre will present “Dracula,” a rendition of the 1897 gothic horror novel by Bram Stoker. Performances will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31, through Saturday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4, at 3 p.m. at the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center, CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

“Our production of Dracula is very theatre-tech dependent,” said Rob O’Brien, assistant professor of CF Theatre. “Modern audiences expect more and are more sophisticated than when this play was originally performed in the 1920s. My goal, as the director, is to have all of the theatrical elements help tell the classic story that we are so familiar with seeing.”
