CF to Offer Entrepreneur Program
Aug. 20, 2013
The College of Central Florida will offer a 12-credit college credit certificate in Entrepreneurship this fall for individuals who want to learn how to take their passion and locate funding to start a business. The first course, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, will be offered in an online format in Fall B Term, which begins Oct. 14.
Introduction to Entrepreneurship will provide an overview of the role of entrepreneurial businesses in the U.S. and the impact of these businesses on the national and global economy. Students will evaluate the skills and commitment necessary to successfully operate an entrepreneurial venture. They will review entrance strategies, as well as the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship as a career choice.
Instructor for the course is Busayo Odunlami, an advisor specialized in technology implementation and deployment for organizational knowledge and economic development projects. Previously, he worked as a member of the World Bank’s Africa Region Learning Team and was the founder of its Professional Associate Mentoring Program.
Courses in the program may be available as a noncredit option.
