CF to Honor Graduates

The College of Central Florida will hold its fall 2011 commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 16. The ceremony begins at noon at First Baptist Church of Ocala, 2801 S.E. Maricamp Road, and will also be streamed live on the Internet.

Sen. Evelyn Lynn will receive the Distinguished Service Award. The graduation speaker will be Professor Gary Ashlock, who retires on graduation day after 48 years as a biology teacher and basketball coach.

Friends and family who are not able to attend can view the ceremony at the CF website graduation page. The ceremony can also be viewed at the First Baptist Church website, www.fbcocala.org.
