CF to Offer Writing Course at Levy Center

The College of Central Florida Levy Center will offer a four-week Creative Writing Workshop for beginning and experienced writers. The class will meet on Thursdays, Jan. 19 through Feb. 9, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd., Chiefland. The course fee is $75.

This workshop is designed for writers who are interested in learning more about literary techniques. Students will read their own original work in class and have it critiqued by peers. Experienced writers who desire input on improving the literary, stylistic and tonal quality of a work in progress will also benefit from this workshop.

The deadline to enroll is Thursday, Jan. 12. Enroll online at CFItraining.cf.edu (select Levy noncredit classes) or in person at the Levy Center. The college will be closed for winter break beginning Dec. 21 and will reopen on Jan. 3. For more information call 352-493-9533.
