CF TO HOST SUMMER CAMPS FOR ARTS, ATHLETICS

The College of Central Florida is proud to host 2012 summer camps. Camps are held at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road, unless otherwise indicated.

Appleton Summer Art Camps
The Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, will offer five camps for children ages 7-14: June 18-22, June 25-29, July 9-13, July 16-20 and July 30-Aug. 3. During each one-week session, children will explore different art activities, learn about major art movements and create their own masterpieces. All art supplies will be provided. The cost per student, per week is $85 for Appleton Museum members, $95 for nonmembers. Preregistration is required; contact Mary Moore at 352-291-4455, ext. 1613. Camps are held at the Appleton, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.

Volleyball Summer Camps
Flavia Siqueira, head volleyball coach at CF, will host three camps at CF. Youth Camp for ages 5-10 will be held June 14-15; the cost is $50 per camper and includes a shirt. Junior High Camp for grades 5 through 8 will be held June 11-13; the cost is $145 per camper and includes a shirt. High School Camp for grades 9-12 will be held July 30-Aug. 1; the cost is $150 and includes a shirt.

Camp Patriot Co-ed Basketball Camps
Tim Ryan, head men’s basketball coach at CF, will offer camps for children ages 8-18 on June 18-21, June 25-28, July 9-12 and July 23-26. The cost is $135 if payment is received on or before May 19 and $150 if received after May 20.

Baseball and All Sports Camps
Marty Smith, head baseball coach at CF, will hold four-day camps for children ages 6-12. Sports Camp will be held June 18-21, Baseball Camp will be held July 16-19 and Baseball Fun Camp will be held July 30-Aug 2. The cost for each camp is $160 and includes lunch.
