Programs of Study - Associate in Arts Degree
Students should be aware of the various, specific requirements for the Associate in Arts degree imposed by state regulations and/or law. These requirements include courses that develop reading, writing and computational skills, the CLAST (College-Level Academic Skills Test) exit requirement and, in some instances, a foreign language requirement. The Associate in Arts (AA) degree is designed primarily to meet the requirements for a student to transfer to the junior level of a college or university to continue work toward a bachelor’s degree.
