Executive Board Meeting Minutes
June 5, 2003
12:00-1:00pm

Present: Carole Bartholomew, Mac Dismuke, Diana Ryon, Joan Cosma, Kimberley Smith, Linda Rager

Activities: Review of items to be put on FACC CFCC web pages.

Activities Committee:

July 2nd Picnic; 11:30-1:00pm; Motion carried for a P.O. for Sam’s for supplies for the picnic not to exceed $600.00. Debbie Bowe is taking care of all the “games.” “Healthy Me” activities, organized by Bob Zelinski and Gail Akin, will be held in gym from 12:30-1:30pm. Motion carried for approval of “FACC supports Healthy Me in 2003” on the t-shirts. We are not paying for the t-shirts, and there is no additional commitment required of FACC for this “Healthy Me” activity.

Volunteers for the picnic will meet on June 18th at Club Hub at 2:00pm.

Water Break: Motion made and carried for FACC to reimburse Carole B. for the water for the “Water Break” of June 4th.

Brownie Break: Meeting and Brownie Break prep will be on June 19th at 2:00pm 5-104.

Chapterbook: due July 1st to Casey K. Motion carried for an engraved FACC gavel and an engraved Chapterbook plaque not to exceed $125.00. Motion carried to reimburse for up to $75 for Chapterbook supplies.

New Business:

Regarding Fall meetings on the 3rd Thursday of the month, the 1st would be on Convocation, so instead of a meeting, Convocation could be our “kick-off” event for membership drive. Joan and Linda will “stand guard” at the table, and Diana will loan us her nice tablecloth. A suggestion was put forward for a recognition (plaque?) of past/present FACC Chapter Presidents at Fall Luncheon. This will be discussed further at the June 19th “Brownie Break” general meeting.

Tentative Fall plans for discussion with membership:

September-Nominations for officers

October- election of officers before FACC convention

November-Fall Luncheon date tentatively set for Weds. November 19th, a week before Thanksgiving from 11:00-1:00pm. Then there would b no meeting in November.

December-installation luncheon for officers

Next Regular Meeting: Brownie Break Day June 19th, 2:00pm 5-104. No meeting in July.

Next Executive Board Meetings: July 17th and August 14th
