Office Of Professional Development Goals
ORIENTATION
Provide information and activities for employees who are new to CFCC, placed in a new position within the college, or are expected to learn new skills to continue in their positions.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Offer employees opportunities to strengthen skills, expand horizons, and develop talents through activities and programs that have a direct impact on the growth of employees as individuals.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Coordinate activities and programs that have a direct relationship to the role and the performance of employees, including, but not limited to, specific skill areas such as computer technology, safety, business writing, grant writing, and employment regulation.
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Provide workshops and trainings for employees in support of campus-wide improvement in areas such as team building, communications, supervision, evaluation, and management.
RECOGNITION/APPRECIATION
Recognize and show appreciation to employees and departments for personal or professional achievements and contributions to the college or community
