What is a reverse transfer?
The Reverse Transfer process awards associate degrees to students who took classes at CF and then transferred to another institution to continue their education. By combining your CF credits and your university credits, you may have fulfilled the requirements for your associate degree.
Take credit for your hard work by claiming your associate degree. Claiming your associate degree now can make you stand out in the job market and may even qualify you for a pay raise or promotion, depending on employer.
This process is at no cost to the student. All you have to do is request that your credits from your most recent university be sent to CF to verify completion of your associate degree requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the reverse transfer process, you must:
- Have not already earned your A.A. or bachelor’s degree
- Have earned at least 30 credits at CF
- Complete Florida’s civic literacy and foreign language requirements
- Be in good academic standing
