Friday Talks Highlights Onboarding Best Practices

The Friday Talks Business Advancement Series, a program of the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership and the College of Central Florida, will feature CF’s Kim Sellers, Ed.D., on April 22, presenting “Putting Your Best Foot Forward: The Importance of a Strong, Comprehensive Onboarding Process.”

“Day one for a new employee is not only an introduction to their job responsibilities but also an introduction to the culture of the organization,” Sellers said. Attendees will learn how to create a more comprehensive onboarding process that fully assimilates a new employee to their organization. Sellers will also discuss how a solid onboarding process can increase both productivity and retention.
