Jose Juarez of Ocala Appointed to CF District Board of Trustees

The College of Central Florida District Board of Trustees has a new member, Jose Juarez of Ocala, appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis on Aug. 22.
Juarez has lived in Marion County for more than 40 years. He is the chief executive officer, founder and owner of Victory Solutions and the owner of BarbaCuban. He is an active member of the community and is a member of the Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 42 and the Ocala-Silver Springs Rotary Club. Juarez was the winner of America’s New Grill Star on the “Live with Kelly and Michael” TV show in 2015.
This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
There are seven seats on the CF District Board of Trustees. Other board members include Joyce Brancato, Rusty Branson, Bobby Durrance, Bill Edgar, Fred Roberts Jr. and Charlie Stone.
