Current and retired state employees and their dependents are invited to attend a Health Benefit Fair at College of Central Florida Ocala Campus on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Klein Center. This is one of several State of Florida’s Health Benefit Fairs planned through Oct. 22 for current or retired state employees and their dependents, but it is the only one that will be in Marion County.
Employees, dependents, or retirees from any organization who have state retirement benefits or related insurance benefits are welcome to attend. Examples of such organizations include Marion County Public Schools, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, or other local government offices.
The Benefits Fair is an informational event with associated vendors who will be on-site to answer questions and discuss options. Attendees will not be able to make changes to their plans at this event. Open Enrollment for Florida’s Division of State Group Insurance starts today and runs through Oct. 30.
