The College of Central Florida and CareerSource Citrus, Levy, Marion will host a Youth Career Expo, Friday, March 13, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus, 15390 N.W. Highway 19, Chiefland.
Nearly 200, ninth grade students representing all four of the Levy County middle high schools will attend. Students will have the opportunity to explore career fields in areas including equine, health, agriculture, manufacturing and business. Students will also participate in roundtable discussions with local business leaders to learn more about career fields of interest.
During the expo, students will tour the Levy Campus and meet with faculty members to learn about the college experience. Finally, students will hear from CF’s Vice President of Regional Campuses. Lunch will be provided by the School Board of Levy County.
