The College of Central Florida will host a Hispanic Heritage Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, 151 S.E. Osceola Ave., Ocala.
Visitors can enjoy free kid-friendly art activities, music and community resources, in addition to information and sale items from more than 30 vendors. Food trucks will have meals and snacks available for purchase.
“We are excited to connect with our community at this annual festival,” said Dr. Raphel Robinson, director of Admissions and Student Recruitment. “It’s a great opportunity for families to explore local resources, artists and vendors right here in Marion County.”
CF is hosting the festival in partnership with the Hispanic Business Council with the support of the City of Ocala. Community resources include the College of Central Florida, Appleton Museum, Marion County Public Schools, Marion County Public Library and Ocala Police Department. Vendors will include financial institutions, realtors, artists and crafters with clothing, jewelry, home decorations, plants, food items and more.
