CF Ira Holmes International Film series featuring ‘Spirited Away’ at Marion Theatre

The College of Central Florida Ira Holmes International Film Series will continue with a special event at the Marion Theatre, Sunday, Feb. 4, featuring the award-winning film “Spirited Away.”

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, Hayao Miyazaki’s wondrous fantasy adventure is a dazzling masterpiece from one of the most celebrated filmmakers in the history of animation. Chihiro’s family is moving to a new house, but when they stop on the way to explore an abandoned village, her parents undergo a mysterious transformation. Overflowing with imaginative creatures and thrilling storytelling, “Spirited Away” became a worldwide hit and is one of the most critically acclaimed films of all time.

The screening will begin at 2 p.m., at the Marion Theatre, 50 S Magnolia Ave., Ocala. CF Student Activities Board will provide CF students and film series members with a free popcorn and drink. CF ID or film series membership card required.
