What to expect as a CF Nursing student

Nursing students at CF gain knowledge through a variety of learning environments:

  1. Traditional classroom setting including interactive lessons with your nursing instructors and peers
  2. Hands-on weekly skills lab with one-on-one feedback
  3. Hours of simulation experiences each semester
  4. Clinical rotations starting in the first semester in local health care agencies

Outside the classroom, CF provides student support services like tutoring, counseling, job placement and more to ensure you’re successful every step of the way.

Admissions process

The CF Nursing program is limited access, with additional requirements beyond the general admissions application. All nursing students are required to attend an information session. These sessions are offered virtually throughout the year.

At the information session, you will have the opportunity to apply to CF for free. Once admitted to CF, you can meet with your academic advisor and register for the required general education courses (if not already completed at another institution).
