The College of Central Florida’s Ira Holmes International Film Series presents a full season of films, film talks and special events.
This event is a film talk with CF Professor of Art Tyrus Clutter, who will discuss the Czech-German illustrator best known for his work as the art director and character designer for the Beatles’ 1968 animated film “Yellow Submarine.” Clutter will show clips from the film, display his Beatles-inspired lithographs and lead an interactive Q&A session.
All films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida, 3001 S.W. College Road, Building 8, Room 110, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public. Films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members; nonmembers pay museum admission. Films may contain mature content.

Tyrus Clutter
Artist and CF Professor
This event is a film talk with local artist and CF Professor Tyrus Clutter, who will discuss the Czech-German illustrator best known for his work as the art director and character designer for the Beatles’ 1968 film “Yellow Submarine.” Clutter’s Beatles-inspired lithograph drawings with lyrics and music of the Beatles will be on display. A Q&A session about Clutter’s work will conclude this interactive film series event.
Tyrus Clutter, a Michigan native, is an artist and educator with a Bachelor of Art in Art from Spring Arbor University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Bowling Green State University. His creative practice encompasses painting, printmaking, and mixed-media assemblage, and his work has been showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions across North America and Europe.
