The College of Central Florida’s Ira Holmes International Film Series presents a full season of films, film talks and special events.

This is a special screening event with a pre-film discussion about the magic of the Beatles song with Travis Atria, a distinguished author and musician whose work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, the Sony film “Love Again,” MTV and GQ.com.

All films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida, 3001 S.W. College Road, Building 8, Room 110, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public. Films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members; nonmembers pay museum admission. Films may contain mature content.

About the Film

“Yesterday”(PG-13, UK, 2019, 116 minutes)

After a freak accident during a worldwide blackout, a struggling musician wakes to discover that he is the only person in the world to remember The Beatles, so he launches himself to superstardom performing their songs. The film stars Ed Sheeran and Kate McKinnon in supporting roles.
